We exist in a world of volatile constants, and we're numb to it. Some days, you wake up, and realise we've lost another city. The institutions designed to protect us grow stronger while the body count multiplies. They convince us we're under attack, but those who built the system dug the hole where humanity lies.
Should we keep watching?
The Calamity Multiverse is an ambitious science fiction project that explores the consequences of humanity's discovery of exophysics, an alternate physics system that enables interdimensional travel, unprecedented technological advances, and control over reality itself. It explores the societal hardships resulting from repetitive catastrophe resulting from everything from corporate negligence to industrial disaster; how, despite everything, humanity survives, and the true cost of survival. The project aims to explore these hardships through the lens of people and institutions, telling stories about how characters experience navigating an unpredictable world with limitless possibilities.
