Van Balens Mercenary Group

The Van Balens Mercenary Group (VBMG) is an off-world and extralegal private military corporation known to have carried out several high-stakes operations for both individuals and megacorporations. They are frequently rivals with Aphelion Securities Group, and are rumoured to have bases on both Mars and Phobos.

Initially originating in Spain, the Balens were founded by Weylyn Gomez, a commander from the Spanish Space Force who went AWOL during the Hellas Conflict on Mars. She, together with the rest of her team, commandeered an abandoned facility on the outskirts of Hellas City, secretly recruiting more members over the subsequent years.
