Simon Grunwald

Simon Grunwald was the Senior Vice President of CORE Nanotech. He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the division, and reported directly to Camelia Faust, Executive Vice President of CORE Group. He was fired on the spot by Camelia for proposing the company attempt to apprehend Samuel Conway to recover the Project Alderon nanotechnology.

Grunwald's career and life was effectively destroyed after his firing. With his clearance revoked, he was effectively excluded from further work in the Military-Industrial-Scientific Complex, and he saw himself shunned and isolated by former colleagues. The withdrawal of his company pad in Lexington left him without a home and the company also sued him for damages, leaving him penniless. He eventually ended up on the street, where he later died from a drug overdose.
