Nanocybernetics

Nanocybernetics is a field of nanotechnology pioneered by CORE Nanotech that began to emerge during the early 23rd century. It involves integrating nanotech into one’s own body, and enables much more powerful and visually striking capabilities than what even the highest tier augments and biomods on the market offer. It remains highly restricted due to its potential military applications and is illegal to possess in many countries.

Nanocybernetics can be extremely dangerous to both the user and others if misused. Malfunctioning nanobots may invade the user’s body, replicating uncontrollably like a cancer, and may be near-impossible to excise completely, even with cutting-edge spatial cell control technology.
