CORE Lexington South was a small and highly secretive research facility located on the outskirts of Lexington, Kentucky that was home to the most bleeding edge research performed by CORE Nanotech. After the failure of Project Alderon and Martin Conway's escape, Calamity Mitigation forces assaulted the facility to ensure the complete termination of the project, killing many members of the research team, and leaving nothing but rubble in their wake.
